New Commissioner for Superannuation
Peter Cormack has been appointed as the new Commissioner for Superannuation with his term commencing with ComSuper on 1 July 2010. Peter has an extensive background in the financial services industry including being the CEO of the superannuation administration organisation, Pillar.
Peter is replacing the existing Commissioner, Leo Bator, after the successful completion of his eight year term.
The proposed legislation package relating to the merger of the MilitarySuper Board, the Defence Force Retirement Benefits Authority and the ARIA Board has yet to be considered by the Senate.
